Default 997.2 clutch options

Hi all. New member to Rennlist. About a year ago, I finally fulfilled my 40 year 911 wish. I have a 2011 3.6 with about 63k miles on it and the clutch is starting to slip.

Any recommendations on replacements? Is a lightweight single-mass flywheel worth it for a weekend, backroad ride. It's a cab (preference from the spouse and kids + 3-pedal .2 coupes are like hen's teeth) so it won't likely see track time.

Thanks in advance and glad to have graduated from evvious lurker to a member!

If you’re going to be riding with family often I’d recommend against the lightweight flywheel. I have one set up by Sharkwerks. It definitely works well and the car spools quickly, but the extra noise and chatter is maybe not worth the sacrifice in comfort if you plan to have the family in it frequently. When the time comes for mine to be replaced, I will likely choose to go back to dual mass to make it a bit quieter in the cabin.

Stay with the stock clutch and flywheel. It works well, is nice and smooth, and handles much more power than a base 3.6 can send to it. I'm sending almost 500 HP to my stock S clutch with no holding issues.
