Default Coilovers and...?

So after much debate and going back and forth I am going with the Silver Coilovers. What else should I consider doing in addition to the suspension while it’s apart? Any thoughts?

Never seen that brand of coilovers before. Positive reviews? I see the top mounts are optional. If you don't get their top mounts, get new ones, and new bearings for the front as well. Far easier to replace that when the suspension is apart, otherwise to replace you need to take them all apart again.

Default Shocks/coilovers

Never heard of the brand.

Personally I chose Feal as they have been around for a while and only place that offered C4/AWD spec suspension, guys in 996 forum have tried them and had good results.

For 2WD models I would consider Fortune Auto as they have a great reputation and are built within US. I would also love to try ISC coilovers as they use inverted shocks !

I have never seen a rear shock setup like the Silver brand shown in the image via the link. That is an odd design to me as it seems to greatly reduce the size of the fluid chamber, which could effect dampening ability, and the thin rod seems subject to bending under the load of the suspension. Most rear shocks (my Bilsteins below & the Feals posted by ajk) have a very large bottom structure for strength. Also the attachment method to the rear suspension link goes around the outside of the arm, whereas this one looks like it has to go inside the arm - is that even possible with the design of the link arm (I don't recall).

I'll be interested to hear how these work and hold up long term, but based on the price and design, have reservations about whether this will be a positive experience.

The pic on their site is just generic pic for a different vehicle, same as the pic for the feal setup.

Ok. Do these have strut mounts built in? Or do I need to buy strut mounts separately?

With Feal you get everything you need to swap your old suspension in and out.

It's a matter of removing complete assembly and swaping your new coilover setup, with my AWD setup they've included adjustable swaybar links as well.
