Default Help identify this stereo

2005 997.1 stereo. I cannot find what this is. Looks like PCM 2.1 but there are no phone interface buttons. I'm doing research to see if I could add a bluetooth module or Aux.

You can add BT to that with a Denison kit. I have one in my 997.1. Works great for audio streaming and OK for phone calls, but I think it's the noise of the car that effects the phone call quality. It's fine on my end but other people say it's a bit noisy. I don't mind as it keeps the phone calls short so I can get back to real driving sooner.

Thank you for the feedback. @Petza914 the Denison ket allows bluetooth music streaming? And I assume its a pull out the unit and plug into the backside?

Yes, you connect it to the orange fiber optic connection cables and it comes with the necessary extension lines and connectors. www.bumperplugs.com is the distributor and there are some videos on YouTube on it's operation. Also has a mutli-port interface that allows for the physical connection of an ipod, USB, or RCA connections. I mounted this in my glovebox, but it never gets used as I just do the bluetooth streaming. My PCM does not have Nav or the CD changer, but all the normal functions including the dash display work.
