Default is this nut welded? engine mount

Not the main mount nut, but the placeholder/keeper nut on the underside of the top of the engine mount. In red squares.

Not exactly sure what you want to know, but they stay there and won't fall off when you remove the bolts.

Thanks. basically want to know how easy/difficult it is to remove. Think I stripped threads when I was replacing engine mounts, so I’d like to put a new nut on there.

Just drill it out and put a nut on the end.

drilled it out but the nut is still on there.

i put a nut on top of the nut for now (and longer bolt), but would prefer to remove the original drilled out nut if possible.

The hole is threaded and the nut is permanently there. First get a tap and see if you can rethread it. Also check the bolts that screw in to see if the threads are messed up as you might need to replace those too.

If you've stripped them where the nut is too large, you could retap them up one size and drill a larger hole in the motor mount itself so the larger bolt passes through. When reinstalling, put blue loctite on the small top bolts and anti-seize on the large threaded motor mount that the large flanged nut that goes through the engine carrier bracket attaches to.
