On my second use of the Porsche air pump, it failed. Such a shame, as the little box fit so nicely in the frunk. Ended up just purchasing a Slime unit (assuming the originators were big Nickolodeon or Ghost Buster fans) which works just fine. Also carry a plug kit, but not nearly as fancy as the Dynaplug. I do like the one-step plugging that provides (vs. remove, ream, plug), so I likely will be a new convert as well!
I wanted to find an inflator with an AC plug that I could use in my garage. I hate fumbling around with the cigarette lighter plugs, and the AC powered ones are quicker, I believe. I looked into the DC powered Viair 85P that was highly recommended by various review sites and sold by Tire Rack, but the reviews complain about it blowing out cigarette lighter plugs, and the description says that you should turn the engine on when operating. Who wants to start the engine just to inflate tires? Seems silly.
I ended up ordering this Black and Decker from Amazon. Still need to try it out, but it seems like a good buy for the digital gauge, auto shutoff, AC/DC/battery power options, and multiple adaptors.
I just bought this cordless, battery powered air pump from Amazon https://www.amazon.p/product/B08HLQK...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It works really well, and will inflate 2 lbs of air in about 1 minute. You set the desired pressure and the pump will stop when it reaches that pressure. You don't even have to carry a pressure gauge.
Does it worth the money? I need one for my car and I don't know which one is good. I am a specialist in big air compressors because it is a precious tool in my work and all is based on it. I have a Dewalt air compressor because it is the best one and it has durable construction and high mobility, high flow regulator, ball bearings. Moreover, it works for more than 2 years without repair and I love it. If you need one of them, you can read more information about it, here https://kylesgarage.com/dewalt-30-ga...ressor-review/.

Absolutely.
I have 5 cars at home and this is a back-saver. A full charge will top-off all 5 cars, and you charge it like a cell phone on the wall, or using your car's USB port.
I carry it on any car I take on long trips with a tire plug, for peace of mind.
This compressor is "CORDLESS", so no plugging into the wall or the cigarette lighter when in use.

Some years ago I bought this Husky AC/DC compressor at Home Depot and can swear by it.
It has two great features: Spot-On accuracy which I checked against two other gauges and the AC or DC power input. To use: Upon connection to the tire valve, it will show actual pressure. Then set the pressure required on the digital panel, push start and the unit will stop once that pressure is reached... which is way cool!
I chose the 88P due to the spec. The 88P has 120PSI max & uses the battery, not cigarette lighter (don't have to worry about blowing fuses). I've had it since 2013 and still works great. The advantage & disadvantage is that it uses the car battery. I've recently discovered that I can use my gooloo jumper battery pack, push the booster mode button, and use the battery pack to power the air compressor. So now the air compressor totally portable. I've used the compressor on cars, bikes, *****, to blow out my pressure washer hoses after use, etc.
A friend of mine recommended this Jethax air compressor. I was impressed with the packaging. This product came with all the attachment pins needed for cars, bikes, *****, etc. They gave easy-to-follow instructions. I have tested it, porter cable air compressor and it worked perfectly
Plugged in the OEM compressor for the fist time to inflate my tires. Never used before. It ran for about 5 seconds and then stopped. Seems the fuse is now blown, and something is now rattling around inside the air compressor housing. It’s toast! Seems to be a common issue. Rather than buying another OEM unit that is bound to fail, I pulled the trigger on another heavy duty portable air compressor that a few others had recommended on Rennlist. Arrives tomorrow from Amazon. Moving on!

Ridgid portable air compressor for me - Guaranteed for life and less than $80 with a built in pressure gauge and works also with cig lighter ..... For tire pressure maintenance or inflating the odd tire this tool is brilliant !! If you already use Ridgid tools and platform this is even more of a no brainer .
I bought the 12v Slime air compressor at Autozone for $22 and keep it in frunk as backup if OEM pump fails.
For road trips will take my 996 collapsible spare
