I recently installed these and can attest that I've since experienced a reduction of vibration at idle on my 2009 C2 with 26K miles. PDK was replaced, at my expense, at 21K miles due to failure.

Thanks for the feedback.

I've replaced transmission "mounts" in a friend's PDK GTS as well as in another friend's 6 speed C4S. I can't believe the floppy rubber pieces were considered mounts at all. More properly they are bushings with the bushing part missing.

Both of the above were the softest offerings.

I've been debating the color but figure if I don't go with the hardest (black) I won't know if I under specced. I did this with the highest durometer motor mounts and it worked out well.

I've been waiting to see if there's a holiday sale.

I saw that DSC posted on the 991 forum that their DSC Sport Controllers are 10% off this week. Considering even the used ones fetch 80%-90% of retail, if you can even find them, 10% off a new one is a great deal and one of the most popular suspension mods for the PASM equipped 997's. If I didn't already own one, I'd be jumping on this deal.

LN running 20-25% off LN and BRS products. I think Driven products also have a slight discount. I picked up a deep sump, oil, LTT, and an upgraded oil pressure relief spring.

Numeric Racing is running 10% off plus free shipping sitewide. This applies to their newly released pedals too.
Antigravity will be running 15% off from 27th to 30th. Their lithium battery is a great weight reduction mod with good dollar to weight saving ratio.

Since mine is a daily driver and the roads are not so great in some places, I went with the soft which are a good notch above the factory. The overall "feel" hasn't changed (which is good) but the prior vibrations at idle are almost gone.

My advice... go for it and forget any specials. After all how much could you possibly save... $15-$25?? Unless it's a big ticket item, I think that when it comes to discount percentages we sometimes get hung up on the "%" and overlook what the "$" really are.
