Cabrolet drains
I am trying to reach the drains for the 911 Cabrolet top. I know they are under the top and have tried positioning the top for access, but no luck. Anyone know the trick
Front or rear drains?
Do you have water in the car?
Typically they plug up at the drain in the rear wheel well.
For the top drains, IIRC, just stop the top when the clam shell is at its furthest point and you can see the little openings.

This article may help. https://www.renntech.org/topic/50512-cabriolet-drains/ Easy to access with the roof partially open. I found the two in the carpeted panel and put a small funnel in them and filled with water. Luckily not clogged as they drain into the rear wheel wells. Fronts are really easy to access and I would hit with a shop vac first to remove anything that can it them.
Thanks for the help. All drains clear except for the 2 under the carpet. Is there a trick to removing the carpet so I can access them?
I finally found the holes. No grommets just holes in the carpet. Needed a flashlight to find them. All holes drain properly
