Default Car Seats

Just sold my 996 and want to get into a 997 but of course wife is glad to see 996 gone cause it’s not “practical” for family Yeah whatever I’m buying another one! I have 2 kids. 1 is 2.5 and 1 is 6 months. Has anyone squeezed 2 Facing front car seats for toddlers not infants in their 997?

take into consideration I am 6ft 195.

and yes those are cherries all over the place!!! Wouldn’t want it any other way!

I don't see cherries lol. I'm about to purchase my first P car and was wondering does the all in one car seat fit nicely behind the passenger seat? my son is 2 years old and would love to take him on for drives but unsure if the convertible carseat will fit in the back.

You can fit one behind the passenger seat in the 996. It’s not perfect but it fits. Good thing my wife is 5’3 because the passenger front is tight. I believe the 997 is a little bigger but not 100% sure. Don’t get your 2 year old hooked! He won’t stop wanting to ride, wash and drive! My son loved that damn car more than me!

I'm 6'1". Had 2 Harmony Dreamtime seats in both our 997s when our kids were the right ages for them. Removed the factory seats to preserve the leather and make more room.

Funny enough, they made 2 color schemes - black with silver trim and black with pink trim. My cat is GT silver and my wife's pink pearl, so it was meant to be.

Yep, it's just a few bolts. Let's the backs of the car seats angle more rearward and is more comfortable for the kids. Not sure which you have, but the cab isn't as good for the rear car seats as the Coupe, as the firewall is actually angled forward rather than rearward to make space for the top to fold down behind it.

+1 for the Hamony Dreamtime for my 5yo. Got one on the way, so will be looking into infant seats soon as well.

Good to know about removing the seats, might look into that in the future.

I have my two in the back of my 997.1 C2 all the time! (they love it and don't want to take mommys truck anymore). We have 2 of the 4EVER seats in back fwd facing and both fit comfortably. (4yo son + 2 yo daughter). We did not remove the rear seats (I wanted to to save the leather a bit..but wife just tossed the seats in). I'm sure the fit is even better with the seats out (10 min job I hear) but they're good to go with no extra work.
