PS4 will be fine at 40 in the dry. Even at 32. I only get nervous when it gets around freezing and it's wet. I'm forced to drive like a person. But I've driven in flurries and made it home okay. That's usually when I put on the winter rubber.

BTW, Tire Rack has a nasty habit of pretending tires don't exist if its not in inventory. Toyo makes all-seasons that fit although not N rated. (N rating means it's been tested by Porsche and approved for use) Toyo Proxes 4 Plus

+1 for the PS4S especially in AL. But if you are set on all season - Continental DWS06 has an all season that many have posted good results.

I cannot find that tire in a 295/30R19.

19” all season tires are few and rare. My car used to have Bridgestone RE970AS. Then I ran Toyo Proxes 4 Plus in 19”. Both those sets were nice - in summer and the wet winter we get here in Seattle.

Roads here are crappy, so I downsized to 18” and now run Bridgestone RE980AS. I wanted to go with Continental DWS06, but got a nice deal on the Bridgestone set.

Of course none of these sets are auto cross or track ready, but a very nice compromise for “anyday” usability

That far south I wouldn't be afraid to drive on summer tires all year long. You said the car won't be a daily driver, so on the four or five days per year where you get below freezing, drive something else.

Those Bridgestones that were mentioned earlier are good tires. Those are what I run in the winter. I'm in central NC and I do drive my Porsche every day.

Should I be concerned about this in South Alabama?
I live in central Alabama (near Anniston) and have run Michelin PSS for about 7 years (on my old C63 and current 911 S) My cars are daily drivers. No winter or temp concerns from me.

PS4S. Don't compromise and get an all season when you would normally drive your car 3x a year when it's cooler. If you have another car take that, or just drive very carefully on cooler days.
