Extended Warranties

I have asked mjourdan for quotes on a number of vehicles and none have come close to being as low as what many of you say. I am at a loss to explain why. Maybe it's where I live? He sent me pdf documents, so there is no mistaking the prices.
Edit:I just looked at the last PDF he sent me and it contains prices for 16k, - 66k miles in 10k increments. However, these appear to be retail prices.

As a businessman and a person that considers himself a good negotiator, I wouldn't ask for quotes on cars you don't even own yet any more than is necessary. If he sees you are doing it over and over with no sale you could get blown off by simply quoting a high price. I know from being in contact with him that he's super-busy. I think this is a side hustle that allows him to make a couple hundred bucks here and there.
Shoot...sorry you missed that car.
I bought my first Fidelity warranty on my 2007 C4S and they paid claims no problem. The Porsche dealer stated to me that Fidelity actually administrates the Audi service contracts. I can't verify that story however. I was told by the service manager at a local Porsche dealership he would rather try to get payment from Fidelity service contracts over Porsche service contracts. He said they were simpler to deal with.
And with Fidelity you can go to a privateer. Not so with Porsche warranty.
I see a lot of good comments on Fidelity here, and not a lot of bad.

I recently got quotes from mjourdan for a couple of 2012 - 2013 C2S models I was looking at. The Fidelity platinum 4/48 coverage was $12k - $24k, depending on starting mileage. I was unable to get a Fidelity policy for my 09 C2S; apparently too old, or too many miles (56k).
From what I have observed, you should check with the dealer or garage who would most likely perform any warranty work on your car. They have definite preferences as to which insurance companies they will deal with. Some will flat refuse to do warranty work for some companies.

Those quotes sound absurd. Has to be misprints or miscommunication in getting the quotes. Bought a 3 year/36,000 mile Platinum policy for my 2011 GTS with 65K miles for just over $5,000 not long ago from Michael. As for the -09 C2S, I seem to recall reading or hearing about Fidelity not selling policies for cars 10 years or older but I can't say I'm 100% sure on that. Check again.
mine would have been much cheaper had I made the decision to purchase before 35k miles.
