Default 997 Rear Diffuser - Check this out!

https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_...fuser&_sacat=0

Have a look at this design for a rear diffuser which has recently been made available to us.

It's made out of poly, isn't branded and is plug and play.

Have you got one? Send me pics of it mounted?

If you haven't got one let me know what you think.

It's reasonably priced.

Interesting... does this mount right to the bumper or does the bumper need to be trimmed to fit it?

It's GT3Tek or aka Better Bodies.
it's mount right to the bumper with screws & double tape..

The rear diffuser looks good, I like it. If someone install this please do a write up. I have some concern about how good those 3M tape is, also wonder if drilling is required.

The rear diffuser looks pretty decent.

3m trim tape is very good stuff. It's what holds add on fender flares to pickup truck fenders and such. Should half that roof / window spoiler on fine if you like the look.

Looks like the same one on eBay, at least they're using the same photos on the site.

Porsche 997.2 POLYURETHANE Rear Bumper Diffuser custom ta ruf 997 2009-2012 DP

I might buy the eBay one. $355 plus shipping and if it's terrible fit and finish then I have recourse via PayPal.

Still working on my 2nd DIY rendition. "Quarantine Project". That could be a thread. Still a little rough but getting there. And if inquiring minds want to know, sorry no plans for copies as of now.

Personally, I like clean lines of no diffuser.. our cars are getting old so keeping them as oem as possible in my opinion looks best...

They look like two different products. I like the https://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-997...0AAOSwzTFej~EA better.

Those diffuser strakes look straight from the Honda Toyota import tuner aftermarket, don't look right on the 997 oem bumper cover.
