Default For sale: 997 turbo deck lid and wing

Converted to aerokit, so I’m selling the stock wing and hydraulics. Hydraulics work fine but one ram is leaking. Can probably be saved with pentosin+stopleak flush, or replace with e-rams. Or run it fixed. Currently wrapped but black paint in good condition underneath. Nice upgrade for carrera models.

Jeebus, where are the pics of the new setup?

For anyone purchasing this rear decklid, Rennkit has very good instructions on how to do this rear conversion on a non-turbo car and I actually was a contributor on those instructions having done it to my wife's C2S.

Thanks for the plug Pete. I've shared those instructions more than a few times. One thing I'd love to solve, as I get several inquiries, is how to hook up our MicroModule Device™ which prevents the spoiler warning, in a 996 or 997 Carrera. A few folks have bought them, but I've never received feedback on how to hook up. I'm fairly certain it works.

Dave, it definitely works - I'm running it with the Erams kit I installed in my 997 R-Kompressor. There's an unused plug in the rear of the engine compartment on MT cars (think it is used with the Tip transmission), but one side of it is only powered when the ignition switch is in the on position so works perfectly as a power supply to the Eram micromodule, I don't recall all the details of my wiring connections for it that you see in the attached pics, but used your module instructions and that 12v power supply line and no issues at all since I installed it 3 years ago. My RUF CF decklid didn't have a wireway in it, so bought a cheap CF bicycle handlebar, trimmed the ends and mounted that in the decklid as a wireway. The Rennlit micromodule circuit board is in the top right corner of the decklid between those adhesive wire-tie mounts.

Thank you Pete and Dave! Glad to hear that it can be wired up no problem.

Price is OBO so don't be afraid to toss me an offer. Worst I can say is no.

And here are some beauty shots of the new wing

Thank you! With the upgraded/bigger turbos, intake pipes, injectors, GT2RS intercoolers, FVD exhaust with 200 cel cats, and a fabspeed comp intake, it's definitely putting down some power (tuned by Markski). And (hopefully) trouble free since I took care of the coolant pipes and the camshafts.

Bump. Bleeding the hydraulic system with pentosin and stopleak should fix the issue according to my buddy who did the same thing. Only one ram has any evidence of oil weeping. Other one is dry. Cheap fix for a nice OEM setup.
