Default 2006 997 Turbo Part question

Hi Guys,

I have a 2006 997 Turbo, chassis number WPOZZZ99Z7Z781514. I evidently bumped my turbo oil sump and it’s leaking and I need a new one.

My (awesome) mechanic says that it will take two months to get the parts from Germany (I live in Hong Kong) and I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the parts faster or if someone may have them for sale.

Apologies if this is in the wrong place

I need Part 27,28,29 (2), 19 (8)

If anyone has any ideas I’d very much appreciate it.

I’m guessing the 2 months is dominated by shipping time from Germany. If you can find other suppliers who will air-freight the parts to HK (extra money of course), that should help reduce the time.

Download the parts catalog for your car from the following, identify the specific part numbers you need, and then start Googling for suppliers of those part numbers.

https://www.porsche.com/internationa...artscatalogue/

Can’t speak to suppliers in your region, but for a US based one try https://www.sunsetporscheparts.com

But there are many more.

As regards Googling for part numbers, here’s an example of how to craft the search for one. It looks for all the common ways a part number can be formatted.

Perfect time to install a deep sump to hold more oil and then a skid plate. I'd recommend the LN Engineering Stainless skid plate. Not sure if MantisSport makes a sump for a turbo, but my 2L one on my C2S with windage tray has been great.

Gents,

Just wanted to say I got the parts as you suggested from the place in Cali. The advicde on how to enter the part names and where to find the manual was spot on - thanks again

They are on the way and air shipment was only 100 USD.

Cheers

The turbo has a true dry sump, it doesnt need bandaids like this
