Default Anyone in Chicago/Milwaukee area have PSE and Sharkwerks bypass?

I have been toying around with the idea of getting some sort of bypass exhaust for my car. Then out of the blue my wife says "you should get a better exhaust, it needs something". That...is a great woman.

I'm curious if anyone around has PSE and various muffler bypass systems that I could listen to. I know there are thousands of videos online but hearing them on my tinny computer speakers or phone isn't the same. I'm leaning toward Sharkwerks, but still need to at least hear them or any others I could check out if available. If anyone is around this weekend, that would be great. anytime after would cool as well.

Thanks, in advance

Just had Billy Boat Center muffler bypass pipes and Fister D sport exhaust installed on my 997.2 C2S.
I understand the Fisters are equivalent in sound to the PSE. Love the combination. You need to drive it to appreciate the music. De acceleration produces the best! The gurgles and pops are outstanding, I like more than WOT. Do try and drive/ride to appreciate what you are after.

Sharkwerks it is....Special Thanks to nwGTS for taking time out of his day and meeting me this morning and showing me his exhaust as well as the rest of his really cool mods. Sweet car and a cool guy.

Looks like Sharkwerks bypass is the one.

Curious to know - if his car (and your car) are manual shift or PDK cars? Reason being, the commentary some have made about rough idle on PDK cars with the Sharkwerks X-pipe.

Thanks.

That was a good excuse to get out of the city and see only the third manual GTS I've ever seen here (i recalled another one after our convo).

Coincidentally, Prairiedawg's and my first Porsche are both the GTSs here. Looking forward to a long Pcar journey for us.

Yes, it was a good day to get out. Today as well. I hit the lottery with that car and enjoy every minute with it. I've put about a 1,000 miles on it since I bought it. I'm finally feeling comfortable and confident shifting and driving it. I hadn't driven a manual trans car consistently in about 25 years. I decided to buy a Porsche and went big, bought a GTS. A PDK will probably get the most out of that car but a manual trans gets the most out of me. I love it. I took it out to Kettle Moraine State Park today on a scenic drive today. Perfect top down driving weather.

Nate's car is sweet. The first thing I noticed is how good the black paint looked... black! It has every high quality mod, practically a GT3 now. Very nice, fast, sounds great. Went for a quick ride with him, fun to sit in the passenger seat as well.

I'm looking forward to all the local Porsche related events in the future.
