Default Rear PASM shocks Bilstein B4 or B6?

Got a leaking rear shock on my 2010
997.2 C2S with PASM. Bilstein sells a
“performance” shock B6 vs OEM B4.
$23 difference
any opinions on which one is best?

'05 C2s and I had a leaking front left last year.
B4 is direct oem replacement but since had PASM & Sport, I went with the B6.
B6 keep stock height. If you going to lower the car substantially, the B8 is a bit shorted for those purposes.

I wonder if the B4 was OEM on the 997.2 S? Seems the S would have the better of the two. Not much of a price difference, $23 per shock retail.

Guys, did you replace the complete assembly or just shocks? What were part numbers and best place to buy Damptronic style?

My Indy says to just replace shock.
my Indy said he can get them for $423
apiece, same as Pelican Parts.
Get them anywhere that don’t charge more.

Just got B6s all around to replace OEM on my GTS cab. Cars closing in on 60k and is my DD. Not cheap even with my indy, I'll say that. Ride feels a bit firmer (I usually don't use PASM on the street) but not uncomfortably so. Frankly for DD usage doesn't seem to make much of a difference...when DE opens up again we shall see!

I replaced all shocks with B6s and while they are definitely a little firmer, in combination with the DSC PASM controller they provide better handling (less brake dive, less roll in corners, less squat on acceleration) but also quite compliant even in Sports mode which I use most of the time.

I did the B6 Damptonics up front. Rears probably this summer (nothing wrong with them right now)
Stuck with stock springs. I have enough problems with bottoming in my neighborhood.

Clutch failure today. So in addition to new Bilstein B6s in rear, new clutch kit.
When it rains it floods....😟
