Hi
I have a 22k miles 2005 Carrera and the gearshift ****/assy tends to vibrate/rattle especially in third gear.
It isn't real loud and I can ignore it but I'm wondering if there's an easy fix for the rattle.
I did do a search but didn't find relavent results.
Any sage advice appreciated.

Seems like low mileage for this, but possibly engine mounts or transmission mounts, more likely the motor mounts, as they've had that heavy engine hanging from them for 15 years now.

Any idea what the usual replacement interval is for the motor mounts?

I'm not sure there's anything officially published, but I'd say most can tell a difference when they're changed at 10 years or 60,000 miles.
