Default Window switch

I have a 2009 997 and I ran across a nice 2008 door panel that I would like to swap, however window switches are different. 2008 has just the front and back window buttons while my 2009 has 2 buttons with a toggle below to select front or rear. Can I use the 2008 switch and connect to my 997 harness?

Probably from a convertible. Would require changing out the door spear that matches your current car.

Good write ups on here on how to do it. Just requires some melting of plastic to unseat it and either screws or remelting the spear to the door. It’s not hard at all.
