He's not shipping due to the Covid 19. I'm sure at some point he'll resume. I'd like one sooner than later.

I want to want that wheel, but I think that particular method of adding a flat bottom doesn't make sense.

I could be wrong, but visually, it looks like the overall top to bottom diameter is actually the same as stock, so instead of the flat bottom creating clearance for your legs, it's actually making the circumference of the wheel BIGGER to accommodate the visual but non-functional flat bottom. There would actually be less thigh clearance when the wheel is turn 30-45 degrees either direction. I would assume that none of us ever sat in a 997 and wished for a BIGGER steering wheel.

Is that how everyone else sees it, too? Or did I get myself confused visually?

i think its visual... i measured the radius and the bottom radius is less then the top. so actually seems to be more room

Well I decided to spend my money here. Don @ Dallas Custom is sending me this wheel after he replaces the lower alcantara with red. It will match my ebrake he just recovered. Quality was fantastic.

I think its a decent choice.

It is a great choice.
Once it's installed - perhaps update with a photo or two?
