Hi guys! Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself and share my excitement over my new purchase! I've been a car enthusiast for a long time and have driven modified turbo Subaru's for the past 10 years but I felt it was time to try something different and I've always admired the 911. This past week, I purchased a 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S with 48k miles to replace my 2015 Subaru WRX STI. Going back ten years in age actually feels like an upgrade, other than maybe the head unit. I've put 500+ miles on my 911 in a few days of driving and I really love everything about this car so far. Thanks for the welcome in advance!
Haha, I actually called them after seeing online and told them I would buy it. I was waiting for them to send me a purchase order so I could wire money and arrange transport and they called me back and said sorry but someone local had just purchased it. Looked like a great deal! Congrats!

Ahh yeah! that was me.
I wasn't planning on buying it, I just went there so they could appraise my s2000. Didn't even know they had it until I got there.
They gave me a good deal on the s2000 + trade in credit so I went for it.

That's funny. I looked at your photoshoot thread and noticed you're around Chicago and the car was identical to the one I was looking at and the timeline matched up so I figured it had to be.
