Pleasant Surprise - SOUL 200 Cell Cats
I'm in the process of replacing the water pump and thermostat on the '08 C4S that I purchased about six months ago. Doing the water pump and thermostat requires removing the catalytic converters. I was looking them over after removal and noticed that they are SOUL 200 cell high performance cats that cost $2000 for a set. NICE! This explains why when I moved my Fister mufflers from my C2S to my C4S, it sounded so much louder and throatier. Thanks Previous Owner!

Nice discovery! I love those discoveries! I discovered that my 944 turbo had upgraded sway bars, not as cool as your find, but I was giddy none the less!

Sweet - that's an awesome car. You've got $10,000 in the PCCB option and another $6,000 in forged Champion wheels. PO only bought good quality stuff! Make sure you're using 2 guide pins when you remove the wheels for any work so yiu don't chip the edge of those rotors. You won't like the almost five figure replacement cost (yes, per rotor), but PCCBs are awesome. I won't have another Porsche without them.

Thank you Mike. Was it you that I was IM'ing with on the SOUL website?
I regret that I didn't take a good photo of the cats while they were out of the car. I didn't think of it until I had them in place. Even though not torqued, I was not about to pull them out again for a photo shoot.

One note related to the cooling system work; I bought a Schwaben vacuum tool. It was very hard to use in that the guage/coolant tank plug/valve body assembly is so tall that it directly interfered with the retractable wing actuator. After much fiddling I got it in there and was able to create a seal but I wonder if other such tools have similar issues (ie Airlift 555000)?

The car came with factory Turbo wheels so I searched and found a great deal on those Champion wheels with mounted Michelins.
I do indeed use two pins per wheel.
I'm thinking about sheltering in place in my C4S during a day trip to Deals Gap. Want to meet me there (minding 6' of course)?
