I used the RGS grills on my 16 cayman and am very happy. Great pricing, bundles and promos. Installer liked them better than the 'Z sports' - easier install he said and I felt they look more stock and disappear into the vents. As it was, a 'Z' grill was being installed on another car in the shop- 631 coatings on LI at the same time.
I found the company easy to deal with and responded to emails the same day - even credited me back money for a sale they ran, can't beat that!!!
No affiliation, just my two cents on a product.

I installed mesh to protector the radiators but i did not have to remove the bumper. I wrote about it here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...protector.html

Not seeing an Aeroket set up for 997.1 on your site. I would need all three due to third rad kit and smile vent setup on my Carrera. let me know if you make an aeroket set up for 997. Thanks

Echo everything positive said about RGS. Hiding the zip tie is key.

We are currently developing the 996 aero kit. We don’t have the 997 as of yet. Sorry!

Default RGS uses Zip ties and 3M tape = saving $50?

I bought my full set from them about 3 years ago and they look as good as the first day. They are surface mounted, really heavy gauge wire, plasti-coated and are a breeze to install. Since they're surface mounted and actually hide the radiator slats, you needn't do anything to the bumper. Another thing that I really, really like is that they mount almost flush to the bumper and thus follow its contours making look like a true "factory" install.

Here's what mine look like:

I am with you on the Zunsport grills. The front mount is far more secure, as they are pressed into the openings by airflow. (Mine have been road tested to 140 mph.)

I have had them on my 997 GTS for 3.5 years with no problem whatsoever. They install, and uninstall in less than 10 minutes with a long screwdriver to relieve/release tension on the tabs. (You will also need a flashlight if not on a lift.)

I also find the look, which emulates the flush front mounted grill screens of the 991 GT3, GT2 nd 911R, pretty bad ***. That is good company to keep, style-wise.

P.S. I ordered through Amazon. They shipped from the UK to Boston via FEDEX, in 3 days. Free shipping with Prime. No customs duty.

Resurrecting this thread. I just installed a set of zunsport grills on my 997.1 c4s with an aero bumper and noticed the front center grill doesn’t fit as flush as I thought. Am I doing something wrong or did others notice some gaps on both top corners?
