Default 997.1 ducktail

Looking for a duck tail that will raise at speed like Flying Ducktail. Too bad they are not made anymore. Having trouble sourcing a similar product but Bayson R has a RS style ducktail ghat they say will keep the factory function of raising. Anyone have experience with this one? Or recommended another ducktail that will “fly”?

I've been looking for something similar. I found the Moshammer ducktail and it looks like it will "Fly" since it replaces the stock piece like the Flying Ducktail. You probably would want to to confirm with Moshammer before buying though.

I really like the profile of that Bayson decklid. Does anyone have a pic of it installed and painted? Google isn't cooperating with me this afternoon.

Is this what you're talking about? I say it looks quite fine But it looks like they're sold out.. or even out of business

I've reached out to BaysonR and they don't have in stock unfortunately.

I was able to reach out to the guy that developed the original flying ducktail via facebook. He doesn't have the grill insert available. Maybe if we can put together a group buy, he would be open to making some for us. Thoughts?

I am thinking about getting a duck tail for my 2007 Targa 4S so may be interested. Would like to see some good photos of this original flying duck tail & some details on it.

I would be interested in a group buy, not sure how it would work though - first timer here. As for the Bayson R one I also reached out and they said would let me know later in the year when back in stock but no real ETA on that. Post up what the creator of the Flying Ducktail has to say, I’m ready to buy!

Clicking the "Buy Now" button redirects to a dead website. I may be interested in one of these as well...

I would also be interested in a flying duck tail if someone were to be able to source it and we could validate quality/functionality as outlined above!

Let me reach out to the creator and see if he's willing to do a group buy and make the ducktail for us. I'll keep you guys posted and then we can go from there.
