Finally, someone is making a 1:18 scale model of the 2011 997.2 GTS! I sent GT Spirit a request last year - no idea if that is why they are doing this, but I’m so excited!
Yes, I would prefer mine in Basalt Black Metallic, but white is OK with me.
I do have a smaller scale (1:43?) in BBM, though- thanks to nwGTS (Nate) giving the heads up about it on this forum.

Yeah, the 1:43 also comes in orange and yellow. I’ve got one of each.
Thread jack: how can we lobby them to make a 997.1 C2S aerokit :P
Honestly, I don't know if I was the reason, but I did send an email to GT Sprirt over a year ago, asking them to make the 997 GTS and explaining why I thought it would be worth their while and that nobody else had done one in 1:18. Then several months later, in March, they announced it. In speaking with Flo at ModelKars, who used to work for GT Spirit, I was told that in fact the company IS very responsive to its customer base, and is very big on producing Porsche models. So, if you can convince them that there is a large enough market for a specific model, you may have a chance!
