I think people are incorrectly mixing up Sensor issues as Software issues.
Examples of known 997.2 PDK Sensor issues are the PDK temperature errors and Shifting-Rod position errors. Those are Sensor and or signal-conditioning errors, not Software errors.
Software errors are literal bugs, CPU crashes, memory corruption/leaks, etc. with the code itself. An example of how that might manifest itself is the PDK control unit rebooting or getting "bricked" if the stored firmware/data got corrupted somehow (e.g. during a firmware update).
I've never heard of actual PDK software errors being an underlying failure mode. But I'll post that question on PV997's excellent PDK repair thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...nsmission.html
