Default Request for Info ... retrofit

Greetings -- can someone please id the two (2) item in the attached photos and can a 997.1 coupe Bose be retrofitted with same.
One appears to be a storage item - the other is interesting given the versatile receptacles -
..

Thanks in advance .as always for any insight .....

I’m sure this can be done. My 997.1 with Bose has aux in. I plug my iPhone in and play music. You can also do BT modules if you prefer.

The first picture is the front subwoofer that is found on targa & cabriolet only. The coupe has a larger subwoofer behind the rear seats. I'm no expert, but given it's a bass reflex design, I assume the coupe is more "true" to the intended sound quality design and the targa/cab is a compromise since the original/larger sub location behind the seats is not available. So it probably isn't worth the hassle trying to retrofit/add the cabriolet sub into a coupe.

Default Duh ........ got it !

Have the Bose sub as indicated - just have not seen same before - spoke to a "install guy.." the third pic item will not work unless upgrade to a later PCM or replacement radio .... all good saved $$$ LOL

Thanks to all .

The only difference between the 997.1 and 997.2 multimedia interface is the 997.2 interface has the USB input. Presumably PCM 2.0 doesn’t support that input and that’s all it is. FWIW, the only thing I use it for on mine is to power my Bluetooth dongle. It’s only other value is mostly if you put music on a USB stick but that’s about it.
