Default Nussbaum scissor lift

So I broke down and bought a lift. Figured since I can't get around my car in my garage, might as well make it easier to get under it.

I'm very pleased with the packaging and quality of this lift. It's made in Germany so I wouldn't expect less. It's a bit more expensive than the Asian products but to me there is no comparison.

After uncrating, it took about an hour to set up.

Looking forward to my next mod.

That is really cool! How do you store it when not in use? Or do you just leave it on the ground and park over it? Lift height looks great!

Can you give an idea of cost? And is it 110V? Or does it need 220?

Thanks. I'll be parking right on top. it lifts about 39" under the car.

Not cheap. It lists for around $3,900.00. 110v.

Ouch. For that price, you could get a full-size rotary lift if your ceiling height permitted.

I searched for a while. Nothing else fits on the width.

Yeah that's my problem, I "have the room" for a two post life, but In reality it would render my garage with less usable space. Something like this would allow me to continue to use the complete garage...

At this point all I can say is that it’s a solid piece of equipment. It’s the only type of lift that would work for me.

They include the wheel kit which is an option from the others I looked at.

I presume that you are using pucks in between the chassis and the lift table.

It comes with 2” thick jack point blocks. They don’t fit with the current set up.

Right now I can slip a 3/4 thick block between the ramp and the jack point.

I still need to optimize that situation. May need to put a 2” drive up pad in front and behind the lift ramp to give me more space for a thicker block. The only reason for this Is to access the belly pan screws.

This is pretty nice I think. Would definitely like to have something like this. Garages tend to be on the small and/or nonexistent side over here. One can dream!

That's nice but is that the maximum height? I'm wondering how would you comfortably work under the car since it's too high to use a creeper and too low to stand underneath it.

Limited to ceiling height. Worlds better than jack stands.
