So near X51 power kit gains from only a tune? If so, Porsche sure left a lot on the table

Yes and the X51 goes to just over 400. The gains are good for the 997 3.8 and better than typical for a port injection NA cars. The DFI NA cars all do well in tuning compared to the port injection as a rule.

Hey Scott, happy 997.1S customer here. Your tune has been on my car for a few years now and so far so good.....no hiccups (this is my mini review LOL)....I am just getting too used to it being smooth and all.

997.2 c2s owner here, only mod i have is center by-pass pipe and fister mod.
what would be the cost for a tune that up the idling rpm a little bit to smooth the car out (its a pdk) and for whatever HP / torque increase i can get out of it?

Hello,
All of the HP and increases are listed on our website along with the price at: https://www.softronicsoftware.com/99...oftware-09-12/
We dont raise the idle as it will affect other items like trying to check your oil as a main one.. The mods you have are good and about what we would recommend and nothing else other than the software.

Best,
Scott

No we dont list them like Porsche , as you can basically make them for whatever you want or not.... Many of the companies that post dynos are also made up ones with software and are not actual ones, they are to clean like what Porsche puts in your owners manual .....

Hello All,
I just wanted to let everyone know that if you buy the software now you can wait a week , a month or whatever time to flash the car. Many of you have your cars in storage and have been asking me this.

Best,
Scott

I tuned my motorcycle many years ago and it was great, but I also lost a good bit of mpg, which wasn't relevant for the application. Does your tune affect mileage, and if so, how much?

Good Question! Most of our customers actually say their mileage has increased yet that depend on how heavy your foot gets after its flashed . I would say realistically the same or better yet definitely not worse.

Best,
Scott

I have Softronic tune on my 997.1 3.8 for a few years now and I plan to switch out the factory CAT pipes with a pair of 200 cell CAT pipes. Can my existing tune adjust for these hi-flow CATS automatically or do I need an update file from you ?

The website does not show the 20% discount. This happens at checkout?
