Brake line bracket bolt - torque spec
I'm replacing the front pads and rotors on my 2005 997.1. I've looked everywhere but couldn't find the torque spec for the 10mm brake line bracket bolt (not the caliper bolts). Does anyone have the data? I'm also unclear as to whether this bolt really needs to be removed to get the caliper off.

I don't think that's right. That torque spec of 51 ft lbs is way too much for that little 10mm bolt that I think you're referring to. Also note that in the left column is says that's a 10mm hex (like an allen bolt). Looks to me like that spec sheet is for a newer car that has radially mounted calipers (mounting bolts through the top of the caliper) not our axially mounted calipers (through the side of the caliper). 51 ft lbs is too much for that 10mm head bolt screwing into an aluminum upright. Should be more like 15 ft. lbs, or for that bolt, "tighten by feel until snug" is my recommendation.

Try this. 7.5 ft lbs sounds appropriate for the wheel speed sensor/brake pad sensor bracket nut/bolt (I think this is what you're referring to?)

I'll check but took a screenshot of it when I recently traded my phone to avoid loosing it. Now if it's totally wrong, maybe I should have lost it. Damn.
Edit... Couldn't find on the site, but by Google searching PORSCHE 997 SUSPENSION TORQUE SPECS. and choose image, it is right there on top.
