Porsche peeps, anyone have any idea whether the numbers typically found on the backside of a bosch alternator includes the date of manufacture? My 997.2 has about 85k miles and I don't know if it's the original alternator or not. I'll swap it out if it is. Don't want to risk it failing on me on a road trip. Cheers.
