My rear wide body Turbo 11 wheels give me an extra 16mm outwards, with a 295 tire they are in 4mm at the top of the rear arch. That's max projection for my liking. That's why I changed from a 305 to 295 tire.

do 12mm in the front and 15mm in the back. you have NB wheels 7mm for the front isn't enough - many owners admit this after buying the 7mm.

personally i am running 15mm/16mm.

I know that each car will be a tiny bit different, but what would really help me is to know the maximum size spacers, front and rear, to run with the stock wheels, without requiring any modifications like fender rolling etc.

I don't know the style name of the OEM wheels that came on my C2S but they are:
  • Front: 19x8 with 57 offset
  • Rear: 19x11 with a 67 offset
  • Tires are 235/35/19 + 295/30/19
Thanks in advance

i'm guessing he has the camber adjusted to make it work.

Those Turbo II wheels on NB C2S look very beautiful. I have seen car recently with Turbo I wheels which was a 997.2 C2 and the rears also had 295 though fronts were 235. They look very nice and natural and car was not lowered, had stock height. So no poke, nothing. Almost flush, but still tucked in a bit. In my mind I thought that turbo wheels would be a great fit with 295 tyres on the rear. I dont know now this impacts of course the traction control and handling, as car did feel a bit heavy footed on the drive , but could easily be due to crappy old bridgestone potenzas rather than anything else / geometry etc.

There are a lot of variables here that affect spacer sizing. The biggest factor is if the car is lowered or not, with camber alignment being the second biggest one. For completely stock there are plenty of good answers posted already.

But the best thing to do is measure YOUR car. Put a straight edge against the tire and measure how much it pokes inside the top of the fender. That's the maximum spacers size you need to be flush since a spacer will push the wheel outwards. Chances are it's not a nice round multiple of 5mm that spacers come in. So round down to the nearest common size. Just be sure to get new lug bolts that are longer by the same amount as the spacers.

I am running 15 mm front and 18 mm rear Eibach spacers with 235 / 295 tires, no rubbing issues. Car is lowered with Oehlins R/T and Eibach springs.

no rubbing with 305s out back but also no desire to go further out.
Just putting this thread back up. Currently on stock strut/spring setup and plan to go with H&R. Looks like the consensus is 15mm all around. I'm also on lobster forks and just wanted to know how your ride is lowered?

Hello,

We normally like to run 10mm Front / 15mm Rear to achieve a flush look and you can still lower the suspension with no rubbing. Is your car a C2/S or C4/S wide body?

Here are some pics of a C4S wide body running the stock turbo look wheels.

It's a C2. I'm still leaning towards 15/15 and planning to lower with H&R. And I have lobster forks so jamesinger setup looks to be the way to go.

This is:
Lobsters with PS4S in 235 front and 305 rear lowered on Eibach pro kit with their swaybars and drop links. If you want a more level and a bit lower stance, go with H&R. Eibach really seems to mimic the OEM stance but is a bit lower. I would say the Eibachs are a 100% improvement over stock ride wise. The suspension still feels stock but the car is lower and more stable for sure.

Interesting thread. I have a c2s NB cab, totally stock. I was thinking 12 front and 15 rear, anyone running that want to post a picture? No plans to lower it.

I have 5mm rear spacers on 991.1 base wheels as shown. base wheels are 8.5" front with 54mm offset and 11" wide with 69mm offset, with 5mm spacer, now 63mm. Running 245 front and 305 rear. instead of poke, I want more bite out front, so nice to know one can run 12mm to 15mm spacers for a wider track on the nose side. Springs are eibach with bilstein B8 dampers. Alignment settings are -1.5 deg camber all around with minimal toe.
