This morning I threw on the intake and cap "mod" for the intake to get some more sound.
It did nothing. I hear no change at all. Zero. Perhaps I cannot hear well? Perhaps I did something wrong? Lol anyhow, video clips in my insta page. Any insight would be helpful.

ahhh... gotta click on the arrows for next vid...
Did you add a high flow oem style filter like a BMC or K&N?? If not, you may want to consider it.
I have the exact same mod in conjunction with a K&N filter. Unfortunately the biggest sound change is only at full throttle 5000-7000 rpm with that mod. If you want a more "screaming GT3" intake sound then any of the cone filter kits make a noticeable difference overall. They also magnify the intake sound sooner in the rpm range as well. With cone filters you here the intake "whoosh" and tone change lower in the rpms, but still the majority of sound is 5000-7000 rpm. I used one of those for a long time and it's still my favorite intake sound, but went this route recently due to a hot summer and sitting in traffic.
I like both mods. It should definitely be a step up from stock sound, but if you want night and day, then a cone filter system is probably what you really want.
just curious... was/is your vacuum line and power source still plugged in to the right side of the back of your oem airbox???

I have a cold air intake which essentially removes all noise reduction from the intake box, and only really notice a difference when I hit 5k. And it is awesomely loud between 5k and redline. But below 3k, no difference.
