The 991.2 GT wheel is 360mm like the Macan. You are correct, all 997 and standard 991 wheels (steering wheels other than the GT) are 370mm.

I have a complete GT Steering wheel including airbag and GPS chip to make the multi-function work in a 997 for $2000 including shipping. It’s on the new “Marketplace” Page.

Other than the overall wheel diameter does the Macan wheel have a thicker grip than the 991.2 wheel? It also appears the Macan steering wheel lacks the torx screws on trim. Is that correct? Also see that the inner and outer trims are available in both silver and black.

Any other differences?

I’m considering installing a Macan wheel in my 997.2 pdk.

I even managed to do world records in Assetto Corsa with this setup. With that being said the driving experience of course enhances with a better setup. If you are down to drop about 5K would recommend you to get yourself a Fanatec setup. Imho motion seats are quiet annoying wouldn’t recommend that at all. So all in all you can get yourself a G29 with a basic playseat and have fun and be quick. If you also want it to be kind of more precise etc get a Fanatec Setup. Of course there are even better systems but it’s totally unneeded and quite a waste of money.

I got this wheel wrap from amazon. $65. Took about 3 hrs over the course of 3 days. Tedious to do, but good value so far.

Good deal is an understatement. That's basically a copy of my Dallas custom wheel except yellow stitching and stripe instead my red. Biggest difference is the price though. He paid $65 and put 3 hours of his time into it. Doesn't look like an easy DIY job to me but what do I know. Not much apparently since I paid $450 with a core exchange.

Yeah, we're going to need a link for this. That looks fantastic.
