Default Engine mounts

I have a 05 carrera s, tip, in which I believe have the original engine mounts. I’ve read a lot on changing engine mounts, but for manual cars and PDK. I didn’t see any threads on engine mount changes for tip cars. Are engine mounts being changed on tip cars?
If so, which mounts are people using, wevo, rennline or RSS. Thank you.

Yes, my old car was tiptronic and engine mount went bad at 70K. Exact same process to replace mounts with manual.

I went with the RSS mounts, and there is a notable increase in cabin vibrations at certain rpm. With a manual it did help shifting

OEM corteco recently went in to my tip turbo. Used the same for my previous manual carrera.

I have a 2005 cab, with tip. I Purchased OEM through sunset Porsche. Replacing them was easy. However, I had to wait a bit to get the mounts as the cab engine mount has a different part number than the coup- and of course they were out. My car had just over 70.000 miles on it.

My current 997 is a convertible and I used the coupe mounts. Exact same dimensions and fit same with original mount.
I am glad that I did not wait for Porsche to get the cab mount. Mine actually cracked and it can let go anytime.

Rein is also oem and that's what came out of my 05 when I replaced it at 51K miles.

RSS motor mounts- call Mike if any questions. Great vendor and have purchased quite a few 997 up grades from him. Also, I highly recommend the under drive pulley also an RSS part- see links below. No affiliation... just a satisfied customer.
