The widebody/ C4S decklid with the red bar is the 997.2, right? I think they're looking for the 997.1. I believe the 997.1 rear decklid is the same for both the NB and WB cars. 997.1 and 997.2 are different...right?

they are interchangeable however (the decklid itself), not talking about the fan and plastics under the decklid.

That's what I figured, but I didn't want to totally be wrong lol. The airboxes and everything under the decklid is definitely different between .1 and .2 cars

I have 2012 GTS with factory aero and would like swap it for regular decklid. I know that the 2009 -2011 is the correct lid because it has the duel intakes. My questions are:

-What parts or electronics is needed for the deck lid to work?
-Does the onboard computer need to be programmed for the wing to raise?

Thanks all!

Going through the same. You def would need to have it programmed as its fixed right now. You need the motor mechanism for the decklid as well.

Thank you! I was able to locate a complete decklid and luckily in the same color as my car and it has all the plugs. I haven't checked but does a car with factory aero have the male plug to connect the motor? Below is a picture of the plugs.
