Default Trade: tinted 997.2 clear LED tails for stock ones

I'd like to trade my tinted clear 997.2 LED tail lights for stock all red ones + cash.

These were professionally sprayed and would look amazing on a lighter colored car. As you can see in photos, they change in how dark they appear depending on the angle. They would look amazing on a light colored car.

Ideally would like a local (SF Bay) trade - shipping 997.2 LED tail lights without the corners breaking is risky.

interesting, I've been debating getting clear tails. Anyway to get rid of the tint? I have an AWD drive car so it would looks weird next to the red reflector.

Short of sanding them down to the original plastic, no. These were professionally painted.

You could tint the reflector with some smoke vinyl film to match the lights

maybe, let's go for a drive. I see you're in the Bay Area, your car is awesome by the way.

I dedicated a good day to do this myself, ie sanding down tail lights, headlights and front bumper lights to get rid of high quality sprayed-on tinted acrylic.

Was a royal pain, but 2 headlight kits later and all back to stock. My finger prints are just coming back now😎

i would assume a headlight polishing kit could remove this tint - after re-applying the plastic polish to give it back its brand new shine, i would recommend adding 3m PPF to them.

Anyone considering these oughta not try to remove the finish. It’s perfectly applied and not too dark and looks factory - I just prefer the look of the all reds

It actually looks pretty boy-racer like.
Trying to remove the tint and then selling seems to be your best option.
Or selling the tinted ones at a significant discount...

I quite like it. Since my car is Meteor Grey it would look nice with the paint. I'd hop on this but I've moved to Germany with the car.

Is this still available? If so, would you consider selling it and shipping to SoCal area?
