Not yet, should hear something tomorrow. Called another shop for a quote on the WP and was $1150 so we’ll see what they find and go from there.

So it was the WP as suspected. The pulley was walking all over the place and its going to run me $1,500 to replace the pump, coolant, thermometer, and belt. My welcome to Porsche ownership but know it could have been much worse!

Thanks again for all the input!

It's my experience that these cars are very reliable and trouble free. But, expensive when something needs to be addressed.
Look at the bright side... you've got a new Water Pump and are all set on that wear item for years to come.

Based on the video you posted, this is actually good news and I'm glad to hear it is just the water pump. I believe others were eluding to possible bore scoring, which would have been the worst possible outcome.

As @Hella-Buggin' mentioned, doing the water pump now will get you squared away for some time to come. You're doing the right thing by addressing everything else while they're replacing the water pump (belt, pulleys, thermostat, etc.)

FWIW, I recently bought an '07 C2S with 50k on the clock that had a good PPI. I had a cracked coil pack, so I did spark plugs and coils right away. I knew it needed new rubber, so I bought new tires. Then the coolant expansion tank cracked (common on these cars), so I had to deal with that. Now a mystery steering wheel vibration that I'm trying to resolve.

It's all part of the process (albeit somewhat expensive process) of sorting out a car that has relatively low miles, but is over a decade old. All things considered, I still think the .1's are a tremendous value for the amount of car we're getting.

Totally agree, I knew the risk when I purchased the car and the reward far outweighed it!

Good luck with your C2S!
