Any reason why Lobsters wouldn’t fit 997.1 C4
HI All,
New Porsche owner here and I am looking to replace what are looking like 7 year old all season conti’s. I have a 2006 C4 currently running 18” carrera iii’s (235 front and 295 rear). Any reason why I couldn’t go with 11Jx19 and 8Jx19 wheels with 240/305?

Nope.
Just make sure you either get a set that fits the wide body, or use narrow body wheels and spacers.
When I got my 997 C4, it had the wrong wheels on it. I bought a set of NB lobster forks on Craigslist for $750, and I run spacers in the rear. Offsets are within a few mm of factory.
