I passed on that car, only because I didn't want a "story" car. But, it looked amazing in all of the photos I got, and I had a good feeling about the seller at the time. I just didn't want to go down the damaged carfax road. I feel the price he offered it to me at ($48,000) was more than fair however. PTS, suspension upgrades, clean car overall is worth the money.

I look at it this way: if this car were a Club Coupe (essentially a C2S with X51, PTS color and overall best of the best Carrera build), it would be $15,000 more.

Sure! And, from my recollection, it was a 997.1! I had forgotten it was a .2. I don't know what they are asking or what the mileage is, but I would get a borescope done and buy it if it checks out and it is priced reasonably. The mileage is up there so I wouldn't pay a ton for it.

FWIW, I paid $65k for a similar club coupe (X51 997.1) with 55,000 miles, but great ownership history with long seasonal drives, and a whistle-clean borescope. That is a numbered car though, but I figure that is probably a $50k car without being numbered, so this is a $55k car without the accident, as mine has a higher MSRP and ceramics.

Thanks for the insight. I paid a little more than that for the car, but the PTS with full leather was a special combo for me and I thought it was worth it. Awaiting delivery!

Most excellent. Enjoy it!

More important than what you paid is the enjoyment

Very pretty car! Original owner made a great choice on the color IMO.
