I have been enjoying my 09 997.2 base C2. After several rounds of replacing the Porsche pads, I am considering a more track oriented pad.
Also, the Porsche rotors are drilled, and they now have grooves which seem to line up with the holes.
Your advice is appreciated. One thing I have been able to trust is my genuine Porsche brake system, so I am hesitant to go with other brands but I am open to it. I don't daily drive it but I do wish to continue driving on on public streets on the weekends, so a pure racing pad seems out of the question.
PS. I am aware I may need to tolerate a little bit of noise and dust, that's okay.
Thanks!
Jeff

Sebro slotted rotors are my preferred.
For pads, I've had good experiences with Pagid RS 14 on track. If you had an S, with the open red calipers, it would be easy to just change 'em back after the event. With the fixed calipers, it's a little more time consuming and I would recommend also installing Tarret studs to avoid the risk of stripping out caliper bolts.

Get the 350mm rotors from the 997tt models. For the track they are a good upgrade. Paige has various brake pads depending on how aggressive but you want.
