Lol, I also had questions about this "hole" below the passenger seat. Definitely a place for objects to get stuck. In my car's case, when I was cleaning it up shortly after purchase, I found an empty tall boy can of Keystone Light..... that was a hilarious surprise. I texted the previous owner and he blamed it on his wife.

The factory phone module goes in the recess under the passenger seat. And all your loose change, fasteners, or other items never to be seen again.

OT, and sorry but my wife is 100% not on board with rowdy cars. I had a built black EVO that she never even rode in. I also had a silver EVO that went from stock to fully built that she progressively never rode in. ...but she lets me do my thing. She is just a different type of car nerd who is in to EVs. She's had a Leaf, an i3, and now a Bolt, so that is more her vibe. Wife blaming does make things easier though, haha.

Talking Shocked at What's Under There!

Last week I added an '08 C4S to my garage. Took it for a spin yesterday and heard a weird clunk from the passenger seat. I moved the seat and heard a hissing sound. Quickly grabbed a flashlight, raised the seat and found an unopened can of Pepsi, a large can of WD-40 and a punctured can of seltzer water spurting everywhere. WTF!

At least I didn't find a shattered whiskey glass under there.

I found a couple of Perrier bottles under there when I first cleaned it up. I don't remember the floor being on bare metal tho….. If I found it to be bare, I'd most likely cut a piece of carpet and put it under there. I have quite a few oem carpets from different cars, since I always replace them with weatherguard liners. So I'd cut a piece of one of them to cover the metal.

On my TT I call it the third turbo. When I hit the gas all three fire up, only this one sucks up anything in the passenger floorboard instead of air!
