Folks,

What's the approximate cost (or range) to replace a cabriolet top, assuming it's the top itself and no other mechanics (hydraulics etc) need replacement, as well. I'm looking at one where the top is very tired, cracking in a couple places and shows very small holes near the rear windows, which apparently no uncommon (?).

I went to a local convertible top shop last fall that has been around a long time. They quoted me around $2500 parts and labor using oem cloth top. I have not done it yet.
