I have it narrowed down to PSE (with or without button, not certain on that yet) vs. PSE with Fabspeed XPipe.
Would anyone have comments? I have read every thread on every forum, so just looking for something more comparing these two..or I guess suggesting both suck and I am wrong to consider either! Thanks!

I have the fabspeed x pipe/secondary muffler delete and outer sport mufflers. Sounds nice, no drone and not at all intrusive. I would say there is slightly more vibration at idle, even after changing out the motor mounts.
I have Fabspeed supercup and x-pipe w/sport cats on my 997.1 C4. Very loud, sounds great with lots of crackles, but drones around 2,200 RPM. Not really suitable for long highway drives, but it's fine for my weekend driving habits.
997.2 with Fabspeed Maxflo mufflers, x-pipe center delete, and headers with sport cats here. I first had the exhaust without the headers/cats and it was very civilized yet throaty. After adding the headers/cats it sound like a race car after 4k rpm yet fairly quiet when you want it to be if you're easy on it. Tons of pops and crackles and visually no drone. If you like to keep your revs up there it does get fairly loud though. Also, cold start sounds great but does stay loud for the first 20-30 secs.
Scott here from Fabspeed Motorsport, looks like you are considering some exhaust upgrades for your 997.2. I would love to chat with you regarding your vehicle, really depending on what kind of driving you are doing. Take a look at some of our options and ill shoot you a PM !

I won't go into why,but my only option is PSE, or PSE and X Pipe. Nothing else. I am leaning towards just PSE after reading this as I don't want drone since this will be a daily driver.

I had zero drone with my Maxflow and center xpipe with stock headers/cats. 997.1 uses a completely different setup and supercup mufflers with sport cats is almost a straight through exhaust. Not a good comparison.

Just to clarify, supercup and x-pipe you can expect to experience some minor drone at certain RPMS. The Maxflo, is way more of a daily driver note, Zero drone. I would love to chat with you regarding your plans?
I just bought my first Porsche - a 2012 Targa 4S - and would like to add the OEM sport exhaust. How much should a dealer should charge for installation?
Short clip of my 997.2 with iPE valved exhaust and Sharkwerks bypass. At :13 mark you can hear the remote control trigger the exhaust "on". I barely revved it in this clip, maybe 3k tops.

Thanks in advance
I bought the full OEM PSE kit from Suncoast and had it installed by my indy back in (I think) 2015 as my 2010 4S was delivered with the standard exhaust. I think I ended up paying my guy something like $1,200 for the installation, but I’m on the road and can’t confirm with certainty. My local Porsche dealer wanted something north of $2,000 for the same job, so beware of going the easy route of just opening your checkbook for your own local dealer .... That’s actually my car in Scott’s Fab Speed post below, but note that my set up also has their Sports Headers so my exhaust note is quite a bit different from PSE-only.

Went with PSE and Sharkwerks center bypass. I went Sharkwerks only first and it was a little louder past 3500 rpm, but after adding PSE, it came alive in the most daily-able way. It is great as I have the option for quiet mode, and it truly is quiet on a 997.2 c4s. When in "loud" mode it makes the quintessential Porsche exhaust note that burbles when you let off the gas -not the terrible burble tune gunfire sounding stuff that BMW's have, it's subtle, but you can hear it. At WOT, past 4k rpms it sounds perfect. ZERO drone in either setting loud or quiet. I got a soul performance remote button to control the valves as the factory button and tubing was considerably more expensive. The homelink buttons control my exhaust valves. PM me if you have any specific questions.
Looking at PSE with Fabspeed X Pipe now. Seems to be a happy medium for me and from what I gather not a bad combo.
Haven't heard the Fabspeed setup so can't comment on it. But I agree with Rulaxin12 that PSE/Sharkwerks checks all the boxes. Not the cheapest solution out there but as with most other things, you get what you pay for. Had Tubi on my -09 C4S which comes in as a close second to me. Amazing sound.....a little higher pitched than the PSE/SW grunt and you don't get the quiet/loud button. But you really don't need it. The Tubi is near stock quiet up to around 3,000 rpm.

Do you have any audio/video of the Supercup? I've been waiting for 5 weeks for mine to be delivered from Fabspeed...Corona Virus shipping issues!
