No heated steering wheel in 997.2 for US market??

That's how I thought mine worked, too. But, I never tried that, either.

I have the heated wheel (not multifunction) and heated seats in my 2011 C2S 6 sp. They may have been included in the Comfort Package, although the heated wheel was listed separately on the build sheet.

That’s odd. Mine does not. It only operates with the steering wheel button.

i wonder if that can be changed via the PCM?

The 2009 order guide shows that the heated steering wheel was only available for cars with pdk and heated seats. It was not available on 6MT cars.

Not via PCM, I think it has to be done via PIWIS. When I bought my car it didn't work. The indy I use, hooked up to it to see what was going on and saw where it 'forgotten' that it was in the car (probably during a battery change at some point) and turned the option back on using PIWIS
