Default PPI in the Pittsburgh area

I'm looking to have a PPI done on a car that's in the Pittsburgh area. Let me know who you would recommend.

Thanks

Robb

Fastco, Rt 8 in Shaler. Number is 412-213-3276. Ask for Pete or Dan. Another option well north of the city is George Riggin, in Zelienople at 724-473-8575. These are the best Porsche shops that I know of in the region. Where is the car located? (you could also ask for Duane at Sewickley Porsche - he is very good; or Christian. Duane is the service manager)

I agree with Linderpat on 2 of his recommendations. Sewickley is very good but higher. George Riggin also good

I had the PPI on my RUF 997 done at Sewickley and they were exceptional. It was probably the most comprehensive PPI ever done - we spent 3 days together and while I wasn't out in the shop working with the tech, they gave me a sales desk at which to work. Can't recommend them highly enough. The Service Manager at the time was Duane Smith.

Fully agree. The Sewickley service guys are great people with whom to work.

Does Sewickley still do PPIs? I just called them on a potential car in PA and was told that they do not offer PPIs anymore, just a multi-point inspection. They also won't do a DME / overrev report.

That's very disappointing to hear since they did such a great job for me on mine. It was 7 years ago though.

Yeah it was disappointing as I've read good comments about their service department. I was told that it was a liability issue.

well then that's pretty much that with them. Call Pete, Dan or George per my original post above. They will do it.

Indeed, that was a hell of a party. How often does a hanger party offer up a charity ride in a P-51 Mustang! That was awesome!
Good seeing you too.

Oh yeah, Duane is maybe a Christian, and Christian may be one too. They are both very good, but not doing ppi's anymore apparently
