Good day to all. I've been a long time lurker as I've been looking to get in to a P car for some time now. I decided to narrow my search for a 997.2 as I truly find this version to be the most attractive line (at least to me) and seems to have moved on from whole IMS issues I've read about for quite some time. Just to share - My last P Car was a 1996 993...which I regret selling but truly had to after dealing with 4 attempts of someone trying to steal her in a one year period.

Yesterday, I made an offer that was accepted on a 2011 911 S Cabriolet with 37k miles, PDK, Sports Chrono Package. The deal is contingent on a PPI which is scheduled for Tuesday with a reputable indy shop.

Any suggestions whether:
~ Preventive care
~ Must have mods or upgrades
~ Known areas of concern

Any other info that you feel is relevant would be greatly appreciated!
