PPI Recommendation Indy in LA - Marina Del Ray area.
Might need to get a PPI on a 997 in the Playa Del Rey, Marina Del Ray, Santa Monica area. Priced one of the Porsche dealership and they want $650+. I don't have a list yet of what they do, but they said it takes 3 to 5 hours! Most of that is probably computer diagnostic time?
Looking for recommendation for an Indy that would do a good job and save us some cash.
Appreciate it!

Call Jim Curtin at Pacific Porsche.
He will do a great job and you can discuss the pricing. Its a great store.(424) 271-6834
Or call Dave at Wheel Enhancement (310) 836-8908. He will know who to call if Jim doesn't work out.
Good Luck,
TimO

Thanks TimO - They are who I called. The nice gentleman I talked to said he would need to discuss if they would do it with his boss. I guess they don't regularly like to do them maybe. He said he would get back to me. I can check with Wheel Enhancement also, thanks!

About 30 min south in Manhattan Beach and Torrance are Callas Rennsport, Dutch Treat, Auto Werkstat and Arredondo Motorsports. At one point or another I’ve used all of them. They’ve all been great. callas is super expensive but super thorough. I would try Art at Arredondo next. Then toss up between the last two.
in Santa Monica, I’ve personally never used but Red Line Service has a good rep and my buddy swears by Lucent Motors in West LA (Tom is the owner).

If you want to make the trek to the Valley, call NARW in Reseda. Before I bought my 996 I stopped by and Klaus the owner spend a good 30 mins chatting with me at no charge giving me tips on what to look for and what to avoid.
I took my car in for an oil change recently and he had Patrick Long’s 73 911 on the lift. If he trusts him you know you’re in good hands.

Marc Bixen of Red Line Service in Los Angeles is great. Uber knowledgeable, candid and straightforward.
