Convertible, kind of a basic build. Would have preferred full leather, PSE or PCCBs. Doesn’t help.
Low miles help. Good color for resale. No car fax ding.
I’ll say $48,900, before BAT fees.

Was looking at that cab - Low miles will help this to a $49,450 sell price + BAT fees

Seems to be a lot of interest, I am going with $55,300.
BTW I added a rule that all bids must be in 24hr before the end of the auction, clearly there might be an advantage to waiting till the last hour.

This car is somewhat similar to the one I just bought, so I am very familiar with the pricing over the last few months. I will estimate winning bid at $ 53150. Lack of full leather and sports chrono will hold it back a little. If I win, maybe my forum status will go from : rookie " to " lucky " ...

Having sold my 997 and looking for another one I'm on BAT a lot. The get very high #'s for a lot of cars especially Porsche's.

Price dings on this one are cab, with some cosmetic issues on the soft top, aftermarket wheels. Otherwise this is a nicely presented car and the seller generally does well on BaT.

$45k as cabriolets are not the most desirable choice vs coupe.

Also, what's the rule if someone just bids a number, but does not specify with or without BaT fees? Is it to be construed as a hammer price or an all in? As an FYI, BaT fees are 5% and cap out at $5000.

as to the car, my prediction is $47,750 hammer price.

Hmm - I think it should be within the last 3 hours. On BaT, the real action usually starts at the 2 minute mark, so bidding up to 3 hrs before close should be sufficient? No?

My guess is $51999. If you are a cab fan this is a good one. It was actually my auction to pick but I am ok with 140.6er doing it so all good.

I didn’t want to derail things. We will eventually get into a groove, although how many 997s were there to actually choose from ? Just win this and you can pick.
