That's always been the case... the Mulligans are for the 48 hr . rule. Hard to get rid of it, when several of us have used ours and others haven't.

Once everyone has used one that's currently in play then when can get rid of it.

OR take a vote and see if those that still have theirs will give it up.

Each time I forget to put in a guess, I think about the mulligan, and then I just say I missed the deadline and I shouldn't get to put in a guess. I suppose if it is 48 > 36 hours I think it is ok, anything closer to the end than that feels like cheating. I think the whole point of the mulligan is if you miss it by a few hours at most. I haven't used mine. And I doubt I will. I am still searching for my first win.

 

I haven't used a mulligan and won't. If I miss a cutoff I'll just wait for the next auction.....no biggie for me.

I'm totally okay with just getting rid of the rule if everyone else is. I'll even skip an auction to make it more fair for using a mulligan in the past.


I just want everyone happy and having fun with the game. I know we / I get really serious at times about it at times, but that's just because I'm naturally competitive,

There aren't that many rules and without some guardrails this would probably divolve into chaos and cease being fun. I would vote to keep the rules in place FWIW. I was busy all weekend and didn't get to the thread in time, already use my muligan and I'm good with sitting out this one.

OK, fine but can we please not litter our winner's list with statements about who's not used their mulligans? I still have mine and won't ever be using it. If I can't get my bid in with two days left I will sit out. I promise not to post about this again.

 

I sold my 997 but reserve the right to continue to partake because this game, just like 997s, is a lot of fun. Sorry I contemplated the BaT route, and would have let everyone know if I had, but there were a few factors that made me go another direction. It would have been fun, but nerve racking too.
