BAT Auction Thread

Why ruin the joy of catching, calling out, the "Not me", the "Didn't see me do it", tormenting, shaming, bearing witness to the confessions of having sinned, groveling and requesting forgiveness.
Way too much upside to try and track this.

I tried to reply to this a while back this morn... must have never hit send and then refreshed the page.
It would be difficult to go back and find everyone that chose to use the Mulligans. I know I have used mine.
We could start a "honor system" list and include it in each auction to copy / paste.
It is just a silly game with nothing to gain from winning, but hey, all in good fun.

Horseshoes and hand grenades
If I ever get bored I will go back and tally a horseshoes and hand grenades version of the results - e.g. who was within $1K, $500 and $250 of the final price.
winner has best pulse on the market!!!

Totally off topic, but has Anyone here heard about the CNC Motors Scandal in CA?? Is there a thread about it here on RL??
About 40 buyers / sellers caught up in some huge scam by the owner of CNC Motors.
EDIT: I started a thread about it, if there's not one out there.

I know those guys and did business with them a few times. They were rocking it for some time or so I thought. They bought the land where the store is and owned the lot next door which they offered to sell to me and I thought about building a store there myself. They bought into being a Lotus dealership, and that must have had a price. How it went wrong is a mystery. I suspect Covid could have something to do with it if you need consignment cars. Clay and his last father were always nice to me and very helpful. But if he did what they say he's in deep sh*t.
I'd like to ask you guys an opinion. I have a 2012 GTS coupe 6speed in mint condition with 24,500 miles on it. Platinum silver. Original paint but the nose and hod were repainted and the previous owner believe it or not didn't use Xpel on it. I have added it, and the car has a Sharkwerks Sports Exhaust (you know the one for $1K). It's close to in the wrapper, and I'm spending $2300 today for annual service and new Pilot 4s all the way around, and told them to alert me of any needs. It needs nothing. I have a Fidelity Platinum warranty with four years on it available separately for $2500. I think the DME is clean.

Thanks for giving me the Mulligan......didn't help however. I have been lurking for a while and joined recently and discovered the auction betting and it really is fun. I am likely to never win as just when I think I am getting an idea on how much a used Porsche is worth....they become more valuable. I currently do not own a Porsche, but have two rather radically collectible US vehicles, a protouring '65 Mustang fastback and a '72 Bronco. Also have a beautiful '67 Alfa Duetto. Trying to sell one or two and buy a 997.2 or 991.1/2 Turbo/Turbo-S.
Bummer is I live in California, and it seems like many of the cars might have trouble with California smog laws.
Ill keep playing the game, and hopefully become a Porsche owner again some time soon.
