There's some interesting auctions that don't qualify for our game like a 2600 mile ?!?! 2006 C2 that's gavelling right now. Also a 2006 C2S ending tomorrow that's currently at $34,500 but sold on BaT in March 2019 for $36k.

The manual S which sold for $40k ($42k with fee) has 82k miles and commenters are saying great deal. I’d say market value but what do I know, I only have 1 win.

The most interesting part of that auction (to me) is that the same car sold for $36k+ fees in March 2019 when it had $1k fewer miles. Market seems to be rising. I doubt I could buy my 997 again for what I paid for it 2 years ago.

I feel the same way...I am pretty sure I could not buy my 997 C2S for what I paid for it...of course, if you wait long enough that happens to many Porsches...if you bought an air cooled car in the 90s, same thing.
